This is a fun cardio-dance workout that combines the best of Nia - a fusion of the dance arts, martial arts, and healing arts. Nia is non-impact, practiced barefoot, and adaptable to individual needs and abilities. Everyone welcome!
Martha is a Nia 1st Degree Nia Black Belt teacher and a member of the International Nia Training Faculty presenting Nia Education intensives across Canada. She runs classes and workshops in Toronto and mentors Nia teachers worldwide. She brings 45 years experience and practice as a professional dancer and body/mind/spirit specialist, helping people take delight in their bodies and their dance. Martha began her Nia career in 1996.
